Bruce Paul is the author of The Artama Legend series, published by Writers Publishing House.
Born in 1945, Bruce studied philosophy and creative writing at Ohio University, graduating with honors in 1967. His life journey has been remarkably diverse — from the Summer of Love in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury, playing in a folk-rock band, teaching school in the Virgin Islands, driving a taxi in Denver, counseling inmates in a maximum-security prison, working in banking and real estate, to tending bar on a riverboat.
This rich background brings unusual depth and authenticity to his writing. Now living among the ponderosa pines in the mountains of central Arizona, Bruce draws inspiration from the Northern Arizona landscape for his fictional worlds.
